The Hotel Carlemany, compromised with the contemporary art, is synonymous of art and design. Paintings and sculptures of from many important artists like Gil Granero combine in a brilliant way with new and modern design of their recently renovated rooms, offering the best option for those who wish an experience full of Girona' s own character and personality.
Nowadays, the Hotel displays already a fund of 70 original ones made of oil on fabric, paper and acrylic, and more than 30 graphical works.
In the Hall of the Hotel our visitors will be able to enjoy the works of different artists.

Carles Delclaux's tapestry designed by Pere Llosas and with a width of 6 meters. The simbology of this piece, realized in an artisanal way named Gothic point style, transports the spectator towards a brotherhood between the city of Girona, one of the limits where emperor Charlemagne arrived, and Aachen, the capital of his kingdom. Both cities are represented by their more emblematic symbols.

Emilia Xargay's Bull (Sarrià de Ter, 1927 - 2002), sculpture realized in conglomerate of sandy materials and that resembles the former Cretan bullfighting. This sculpture fills with enery the Hall of the Hotel.

Alejo' s Abstract,  sculpture realized in iron forged with sinuous forms that evoke the body of a woman.

In the Rooms and Meeting- Rooms the Hotel shows its interest for the painting. Our guests will be able to find out-standing references from the world of the paintbrushes as for example:
